Refund Policy

At FABify, we strive to provide our customers with quality products, tailored to meet their specific design needs. However, in the event of a return or refund request, please familiarize yourself with our refund policy below.

Refund request: If you encounter issues with the parts you received from FABify, please contact us within 10 days from the receipt of your order. In case of any concerns, please reach out to our support team as soon as possible and attach photos of the parts you received. You can email us at any time: support@fabify.com. Our support team will respond to your request promptly, but please note that responses may take up to 72 hours.

Case-by-case decisions: At FABify, we handle returns and refunds on a case-by-case basis. Our team will work with you to determine the best solution, whether it's providing replacement parts, issuing credit, or a full or partial refund. We will assess your request based on specific circumstances, and you may be asked to provide photographs or a description of the product defect to assist us in evaluating your request.

Do not return your parts to FABify unless expressly instructed to do so; if that is the case, you may be required to return your parts at your own expense.

Examples of acceptable reasons to request a refund

  • The delivered parts do not significantly match the ordered parts.
  • Errors or defects due to manufacturing processes.

Examples of unacceptable reasons to request a refund

  • Errors related to the design you submitted, such as style, dimensions, materials, usage, etc.
  • You simply do not like the final design.
  • You have changed your mind and/or no longer need the parts.
  • The part is not aesthetically perfect.

Refunds

  • Timeframe: If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
  • To be eligible for a return or refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. We may request photographs of any damage or imperfections instead of the return of the item.
  • Once we receive your refund request, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If your request is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 2 to 3 business days.
  • Late or missing refunds: If you haven't received your refund yet, please first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company; there may be a delay before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you've followed all these steps and still haven't received your refund, please contact us at support@fabify.com.

Shipping

  • In most refund cases, we will ask you to recycle the unusable parts instead of returning them to us. However, if a return is necessary, our support team will provide you with return instructions.

Design and prototyping

These terms and conditions define the conditions under which FABify (referred to as 'the company') provides rapid prototyping services to its clients (referred to as 'the client' or 'the clients').

For the purposes of these conditions, the term 'design' refers to any file, drawing, or other physical or digital element provided to FABify through the website, by email, or by any other means, for the purpose of using our services.

For the purposes of these conditions, the term 'rapid prototyping' refers to the process of manufacturing prototype parts from designs provided by the client. These prototype parts are created using a variety of materials and processes that can mimic the properties and dimensions of the final part. However, it is important to note that parts produced as part of rapid prototyping are generally not intended for mass production. They primarily serve to validate concepts, test designs, and conduct preliminary assessments before engaging in larger-scale production.

You must ensure that any submitted design complies with the requirements of our content policy. Submitting stolen, trademark-protected, inappropriate, or illegal content may result in the cancellation of your order.

You certify that any design provided to FABify does not violate any local, state, or federal laws or regulations and does not contain any abusive, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, deceptive, offensive, pornographic content, nor does it violate any intellectual property rights.

If we have concerns about the content of your design, we will contact you by email within 72 hours of receiving your order.

FABify reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time, and you will be contacted by email if we choose to do so.

If we find that your design does not comply with FABify's content policy before the start of production, we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund your payment. If we determine that your design does not comply with FABify's content policy after production has already begun, we reserve the right to cancel your order, and you may not receive a refund.

Prices and payment

All prices for standard orders are listed on the website and include materials, labor, and shipping fees. Sales tax will be automatically applied in accordance with local laws.

Prices for custom orders and/or custom sizes will be provided via email and may incur additional shipping fees. Shipping rates are calculated based on dimensions, weight, and location. Currently, we do not ship outside of Canada.

We reserve the right to reduce or increase our prices at any time to match raw material and commodity prices. Price changes will not affect completed or ongoing orders.

When applying offers or discount codes to your order, you are responsible for understanding the rules governing the use of each offer or discount code. Fraudulent use of these offers or discount codes may result in the cancellation of your order and suspension of your FABify access.

You are responsible for providing complete, up-to-date, and accurate payment information during the ordering process. You agree to promptly update your information, including your email address, credit card numbers, and expiration dates.

If you believe there has been an error in the charges to your payment method, you must contact us at support@fabify.ca within 30 days of placing your order so that we can open an investigation. We will inform you of our findings within three (3) business days. If we find that there is an error on our part related to the order charges, we can only credit your original payment method or offer a FABify credit, which may take up to 30 days to take effect.

Shipping

We will ship your order to the delivery address you provided in your order. Once we have manufactured your item, packed it, and generated a shipping label, you will receive an email containing the tracking information.

While we strive to deliver your parts as quickly as possible, we are not responsible for delays once the package has been shipped, and we are not liable for damages or costs caused by the carrier, delivery delays, or delivery issues. However, we will work with you to address damaged or lost parts to the extent possible. Title and risk of loss are transferred to you upon the transfer of goods from FABify to the shipping carrier.
